Jon Thomas

After graduating with a BBA from William & Mary, Jon embarked on his career with Ferguson Enterprises in Atlanta as a Trainee in 1986.  He was hired by A.O. Smith in 1988 and moved to the Washington DC area as a District Manager.  He remained with A.O. Smith through 1995 and shifted to N.H. Yates in 1996 as A.O. Smith converted from a factory sales force to reps.  Jon has lived in Columbia, MD since 1991, is married to Amanda, Dean of Arts & Sciences at Loyola University and they have two children.

Jim Schnorr 

Over the course of Schnorr’s 30-year career at Burnham Holdings, he has held positions in both the wholesale channel and engineered product offerings in the residential, commercial, and industrial segments of the HVAC industry. He has led national and local sales teams of manufacturers reps and direct sales employees for Burnham Corporation, Burnham Hydronics, Burnham Commercial, Bryan Steam, and Thermal Solutions.

Dan Kelbaugh

Dan has been in the sales industry for over 30 years with concentration in the HVAC industry for the past 20 years. He joined NH Yates in 2011 and was previously the VP of Sales and Marketing for Burnham Boilers for 12 years. Dan is responsible for sales and marketing direction in our entire coverage area while also managing several of our key hydronic product lines. Dan lives in York , PA and graduated from Bloomsburg University with a BA degree in Marketing.

Evan Ibbitson

Been at Yates since October 2015 as an Inside Sales Rep. I have been in this industry ever since I began working here. My educational background includes a bachelor’s in Sports Management and a Master’s in Sports Leadership and Recreation Management. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Matt Hatmaker

Matt Hatmaker joined the Yates Team in January of 2016 as a Senior Sales Executive. Matt has a background as a licensed plumber/fitter, a graduate of the ABC apprenticeship program, attended UMBC for Business Administration and has worked in the mechanical contracting industry as well as owned his own manufacturer’s representative agency for over 15 years. He enjoys spending time with his family, sports and has been a licensed soccer and lacrosse coach for over 20 years.

Steve Tefel

Outside sales for NH Yates covering the Washington metro area. I have been with the company for over 20 years and over 30 years in the industry overall. I specialize in domestic water heating and hydronic systems.

Gary Markle

I have been a wholesale sales rep for NH Yates since 2001 and cover various wholesalers in MD, VA, DE, and PA (2015 Top Sales Producer) Before moving over to NH Yates, I was a manufacturer’s sales rep for Burnham Holdings, and handled the DC, MD, and VA wholesalers and contractors for 7 years (2005 Salesperson of the Year) In my spare time, I enjoy all things sports, especially, coaching my sons, playing golf and basketball.

Julia Perdue

Simply put, I enjoy people. At NH Yates, I utilize my 20+ years of experience in the fast-paced mechanical and controls industries to quickly and effectively handle customer requests. I am a foodie who enjoys traveling to new destinations and spending time with family and friends.

Chuck Yates

My title is “Engineered Sales” which really means I call on Engineers, Architects and Facilities to update them on how our lines can help them provide better services, energy usage or life expectancy to their clients/buildings. I have been with the company since 1988 and really enjoy what I do. in my other life I volunteer extensively with Safe House of Hope (www.safehouseofhope.org) which works with victims of domestic sex trafficking here in Baltimore.

Matt Cornelius

In 2005, Matt joined N.H. Yates full time after graduating from McDaniel College with a BA degree in Business Administration & Economics. During his tenure at the company, he has served in various capacities including inside sales, estimating department manager, and most recently outside sales. In his current sales function, Matt has forged professional relationships & provided service in the Baltimore, Maryland Eastern Shore, District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, Eastern Pennsylvania, & Delaware markets.
