Smith Commercial Tankless Rack System is capable of delivering up to 1,592,000 BTUs and can be configured to pair with a hot water storage tank which provides flexibility for a variety of applications. MaxiPro wins HVAC Product of the Year Award
Conex Bänninger’s innovative MaxiPro copper pipe press joint has been voted Commercial HVAC Product of the Year in prestigious awards judged by industry experts in the UK.
MaxiPro is the fast, safe, flame-free alternative to brazing, designed and manufactured by Conex Bänninger, an IBP Group company, for air-conditioning and refrigeration applications.
MaxiPro was named Commercial HVAC Product of the Year (Components, Controls and Accessories) following a two-stage process that involved a written submission then a technical presentation to a knowledgeable panel of judges.
The range was created specifically for the ACR sector, designed to be used up to a maximum operating pressure of 700 psi at 250°F, with a permanent maximum operating temperature of range of -40°F to 284°F.
The award was presented to Conex Bänninger Chief Executive Officer Mano Bakhtiari in front of more than 1,000 senior figures from the HVAC industry. The ceremony took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane.
Mano said: “We could see there was a gap in the refrigeration market for a revolutionary press fit product that was not only easier to install but could also handle the higher pressures that are typical for refrigeration requirements.
“The response has exceeded our expectations and we look forward to extending our launch plans in our international markets over the coming year.”
As a mechanical, flame-free joint MaxiPro fittings eliminate the need for a fire watch and produces a secure, permanent and leak-free joint. Unlike brazing, there is no need to carry around heavy gas bottles or perform a nitrogen purge of the system.
