Why Choose the Bellowsflex from Flex-Hose?
The standard Flex-Hose Bellowsfelx bellows element is manufactured with 321 stainless steel which is it not susceptible to corrosion or rust even after reaching temperatures up to 900º C or about 1,650º F. In addition to the 321 stainless steel, the Bellowfelx is available in other heat and corrosion resistant alloy materials for higher temperature applications. The Bellowflex comes from the factory with a standard pressure rating of up to 300 PSI. However, the maximum system test pressure is can be up to 1.5 times the working pressure. And of course, the Bellowflex can be equipt with accessories such as tie rods, limit rods, flow liners, and protective covers and/or shrouds. Finally, Flex-Hose offers the Bellowflex with multi-ply bellows for added flexibility and endurance. The reduced thickness of the individual bellow plies results in less bending due to the axial motion which increases the life of the bellows.
