Suspended particles or deposited solids can cause abrasions, enhance corrosion, and reduce the effectiveness of an HVAC system even in small commercial facilities. The Skidmore X-Pot Compact is ideal for systems up to 9.130 gallons and 150 PSI working pressure. In addition, the X-Pot Compact’s size and versatility lend work well in areas where space is at a premium such as a mechanical room or small basement. This compact unit from Skidmore incorporates a shot feeder, magnetic filter, and cartridge filter, which makes it a perfect “go t0” solution in mechanical rooms for both new and existing applications. The X-Pot Compact not only offers full slipstream filtration down to an industry leading 0.5µ, but also allows for a quick, safe, and simple dosing of up to 1.18 gallons of water treatment chemicals into your system.
Skidmore X-Pot Compact Specifications
The core of the X-Pot Compact is its twin filtrations compartments. The first compartment removes all magnetic particles using 4 very powerful rare earth magnets. Next, the system passes water through the stainless steel baffle plate into the second compartment where the fine filtration cartridge traps any nonmagnetic debris. finally, clean, filtered, and polished water then flows back into the system.
