Water Control Corporation High Capacity System

High Capacity Ultrafiltration SystemWater Control Corporation High Capacity Ultrafiltration System

The number of harmful bacteria that can live, and thrive in plumbing systems can be frightening. Legionella, Pseudomonas, Mycobacterium, E. Coli, Cryptosporidium, Rotavirus are only a few of the harmful organisms that can contaminate a water supply and spread to people and animals. Unfortunately, the conditions in many commercial and institutional facilities are ideal for the growth of these harmful pathogens. Often, filtration systems in use at many of these large facilities are not adequate at managing the levels of these harmful organisms. Fortunately, there is a better alternative. The Water Control Corp High Capacity Ultrafiltration System utilizes a three-tier approach in the fight to control Legionella and other harmful pathogen levels in water. Each level of the Water Control Corporation’s High Capacity Ultrafiltration System features a German hollow fiber technology that removes 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and other harmful organic matter that serve as nourishment for these organisms. However, the filter does allow substances dissolved in water, such as disinfectants, to remain in the water. These disinfectants are much more efficient due to the lack of new organisms introduced into the water stream.

Point of Entry Treatment

High Capacity Ultrafiltration System

The first level of defense for this High Capacity Ultrafiltration System is the Point of Entry filter located where the water enters the building. The Point of Entry Treatment system’s flow-through design filters 99.99% of harmful bacterias, viruses, and sediments from the water supply. The filtration membrane has an 8-10 year lifespan and complies with all EPA integrity verifications. The Point of Entry unit is low maintenance, self-cleaning, and has an optional filtered bypass system for emergency or cleanings, and hooks up to a 120VAC power supply.

Point of Use Treatment

High Capacity Ultrafiltration System

The second level of defense is the Point of Use Treatment System. This level is designed to provide safe water to cooling towers, humidifiers, misters, and other water features and banks of fixtures. This Pont of Use Sytems again uses a flow-through filter design that kills 99.99% of harmful substances in drinking water with a very low-pressure loss. For toilets and other flushable systems, these units feature a flushable membrane and an intuitive control system with a 72 PSI pressure relief mechanism. The Point of Use Treatment System has a working range of 40° to 104° F and a working pressure range of 30 t0 73 PSI.

Hot Water Recirculation Treatment

High Capacity Ultrafiltration System

The final layer of defense is the Hot Water Recirculation Treatment which continuously filters hot water as it re-circulates around your building. Again, this system kills 99.99% of harmful organisms in your plumbing hot water. This unit flushes on percent fouling and operating time and features an intuitive control system that protects water heaters. The Hot Water Recirculation system has a working range of 40° to 158° with a max intermittent temp of 170° F and a working pressure range of 30 to 73 PSI.
