Members of the N.H. Yates staff attended the Haws Training on June 25th and 26th in beautiful Sparks, Nevada. During this training, our team was fortunate to find out more about Haws’ line of Axion MSR Emergency Shower and Eye/Face Wash Stations as well as their line of high-quality drinking fountains. Here’s a brief overview of what we learned!
Haws Axion MSR Emergency Shower Eye/Face Wash Station
The AXION MRS from Haws sets the industry standard for emergency shower, eye, and face wash stations. The innovative inverted-flow design is the only product available that provides a cleaning consistent with EMT, emergency, and doctor’s office standards. Rather than irrigating from the outside of the eye back, flushing water into the vulnerable nasal cavity like many traditional eyewashes, the AXION sweeps contaminants away from this area keeping it free from contamination. Take a look at this informative video for more.
Do You Follow ANSI Z358.1 Standards?
ANSI Z358.1 is a common reference point when selecting an emergency eyewash and shower equipment. This OSHA standard is a widely accepted guideline when choosing the installation, operation, and maintenance of emergency equipment such as an eyewash station. Here is a video that gives a brief outline of the standards and how to conduct an annual compliance inspection from the Haws company.
Haws Drinking Fountains
All Haws drinking fountains feature their patented stainless steel push-button valve assembly that allows for easy stream adjustment as well as easy access filter cartridge and strainer. Haws offers a complete line of fountains that provide a variety of mounting solutions to organizations with limited and/or custom side fountain stalls. And of course, all models meet current federal regulations for the disabled including those in the Americans with Disabilities Act. Here is a video that outlines the entire line of Haws water fountains and hydration products.
