Flex-Hose Flexcomp Expansion Compensators

At N.H. Yates, we proudly represent the complete line of Flex-Hose Expansion Compensators including the innovative Flexcomp Expansion Compensator. The people at Flex-Hose engineer and manufacture the Flexcomp for a broad range of requirements including some of the most demanding applications in the world. Flexcomp Expansion Compensators are designed to absorb thermal growth in HVAC small diameter piping systems. In most cases, these expansion compensators eliminate the need for expensive pipe loops and the associated maintenance associated with packed slip joints. In addition, Flex-Hose fabricates the Flexcomp from stainless steel and is available with copper tube ends, steel male NPT ends, or 150 lb steel flanges. The Flexcomp is available for pipe ranging from 3/4 inch to 4 inches in diameter and pressure rating up to 175 PSI.

Why Choose Flexcomp Expansion Compensators?

Flexcomp Expansion Compensators

First, Flex-Hose understands that no contractors requirements will be exactly the same and therefore design the Flexcomp to work with a wide variety of applications. Second, the Flexcomp Expansion Compensator’s compact design allows contractors to save valuable space when installing HVAC systems. The Flexcomp is able to absorb up to 2 inches of axial movement resulting from thermal growth in domestic hot water, heating hot water, and chilled piping systems. Third, the Flexcomp is durable. The entire unit is externally pressurized and made of rugged stainless steel bellows to assure safety and reliability. Finally, the Flexcomp is an energy efficient choice. The unit’s liner design prevents bellows impingement or fatigue due to flow reduced vibration. The standard working pressure ratings are sufficient for up to 200 psi with a maximum system test pressure of 300 psi.
